General Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “GTC”) govern the contractual relationship between Baudilaine (hereinafter “the Seller”) and its customers (hereinafter “the Customer”) for the sale of products via the website www.baudilaine.com. By placing an order on the website, the Customer accepts these GTC without reservation.
2. Products
The Seller offers for sale knitting yarn of various brands, qualities and colours, as presented on the website. The essential characteristics of the products are available on the website.
3. Prices
The prices of the products are shown in euros (€) inclusive of all taxes (VAT included) and exclusive of delivery costs. The Seller reserves the right to change its prices at any time, but the products will be invoiced at the rate in force at the time of the order. Delivery costs are detailed at the time of the order and are borne by the Customer.
4. Orders
The Customer places an order by following the online ordering process on the website. The order is final only after the payment has been validated. The Seller reserves the right to refuse any order in the event of a prior dispute with the Customer, total or partial non-payment of previous orders, suspected fraud, or for any other legitimate reason.
5. Payment
Payment for the products is made online by bank card or by other means of payment available on the website. Payment is secure and the Customer's banking data are encrypted.
6. Delivery
The products are delivered to the address indicated by the Customer when placing the order. Delivery times are stated on the website and may vary depending on the destination. The Seller endeavours to meet these times but cannot be held liable for delays attributable to the carrier.
7. Returns
The Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the products to exercise the right of withdrawal, without having to give reasons or pay penalties. The products must be returned in good condition, in their original packaging, and the return costs are borne by the Customer.
8. Refund
In the event of the exercise of the right of withdrawal in accordance with these GTC, the Seller undertakes to refund the Customer within 14 days from receipt of the returned products, including the initial delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the choice of a delivery method more expensive than the standard delivery method offered by the Seller).
9. Disputes
Any dispute relating to the sale of the products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Belgian courts, in accordance with the legislation in force in Belgium.
