Robe Sublimes Seychelles — the granny look as a summer dress

Designed in our workshops, the Robe Sublimes Seychelles is an exceptional piece, crocheted in granny stitch in a bohemian, romantic spirit. Its sleeveless silhouette, its pointed V-neckline, its asymmetric skirt finishing in a point and its fringe at the hem make it a statement summer dress, to wear over a swimsuit or mini-shorts, with flat or wedge sandals.

An exceptional top-down construction

The dress is crocheted in one piece, from the neckline, following a technical construction that calls for experience: you start with the back, widening the granny stitch row by row to form the shoulder line, then work separately the two front shoulders and the central V section (started on a magic ring at the point). Assembling on the wrong side of the work joins these three elements to form the pointed neckline. The back and front are then joined to crochet the body in rounds, to the desired length.

Granny stitch in dress version

The whole garment is worked in classic granny stitch (groups of 3 trebles separated by chain arches), which gives that openwork, airy look, perfect for summer. The central point of the front and skirt is formed by regular increases in a central arch — a signature detail that draws a V-line at the front and an asymmetric effect at the hem.

The finishing touch: the fringe

The hem of the dress is decorated with fringe knotted into each arch of the last round: 3 strands of 16 cm folded in half per fringe, then trimmed even. A bohemian finish that lengthens the silhouette and brings movement with every step.
