The Cabas Papyrus is a large crocheted bag, at once sturdy and light, ideal for the beach, the market or everyday shopping. All its character lies in its raised basketweave stitch: a play of woven blocks, made with raised trebles, that draws a real basket motif. Worked in a single plain colour, it is the relief alone that creates the motif — elegant and timeless.

The Papyrus yarn

Crocheted in Papyrus, our flat paper-ribbon-style yarn, the bag keeps a lovely shape while remaining supple and airy. Its matt surface and slightly marled look set off the relief of the basketweave. It is up to you to choose the colour that suits you.
