Pull croisé Portofino — summer elegance in crochet
Designed in our workshops, the Pull croisé Portofino is a summer crochet piece with a romantic silhouette: short cut, crossed front, deep V-neck and flared kimono sleeves. A design to wear over a fine top, a summer dress or a swimsuit, bringing a couture touch to every seasonal outfit.
A clever one-piece construction
The back and both fronts are crocheted in one piece, from the hem, in close trebles. At 7.5 cm, the work divides: you first continue the back on the central stitches, then take up each front separately, forming the deep V-neck with progressive decreases.
The sleeves are picked up directly on the sides of the back and fronts, and crocheted top-down in fan stitch — a delicate stitch made of fans of 3 trebles separated by chain arches, bringing lightness and femininity. The neckline edging takes up this same stitch for visual harmony, and the hem of the jumper and the sleeves are finished in crab stitch, the graphic signature of crochet.
A crossover secured by two snap fasteners
The crossover of the front is secured by 2 discreet metal snap fasteners, placed at the start of the neckline: they keep the alignment without interrupting the pure line of the V. An elegant, functional finish.
The Portofino quality
Worked in the Portofino quality, this jumper benefits from a summery, fluid and soft yarn, ideal for fine crochet. A yarn that glides nicely under the n°2.5 hook and perfectly shows off the openwork of the fan stitch.
