A timeless bolero to knit yourself

The Boléro Chauve-Souris is a short jacket with a fluid drape, characterised by its full, so-called "batwing" sleeves that extend generously from the neckline, and by its enveloping shawl collar that frames the face beautifully. Fastened with three buttons set on press studs, it can be worn open over a basic top or closed over a summer dress on cooler evenings.

This feminine, flattering design suits every figure thanks to its soft lines and wrap-around cut. Knitted in Casual 4 Cachemire, a blended yarn enriched with cashmere, it offers incomparable softness to wear and a light drape that flatters the silhouette.

Stitches used: 1×1 rib, stocking stitch, single and double decreases, selvedge stitch.
Tension: 18 stitches and 24 rows to 10×10 cm, on n°4½ needles.
Level: intermediate (the single and double decreases on a cable needle take a little practice).
