Pull & Col Verona — the oversized mohair to wear and layer

Designed in our workshops, the Pull & Col Verona is a signature duo: an oversized mohair jumper with a roomy, fluid silhouette, and a generous separate collar to wear turned up, to dress the bust and warm the neck. A winter piece with strong character, to wear over straight jeans, a long skirt or wide trousers.

Two pieces, a thousand combinations

The jumper is knitted in stocking stitch, with two strands held together, creating a fabric that is both dense and downy. Edgings in 1×1 rib at the hem and cuffs and nowhere else: the neckline of the jumper is deliberately pared-back, open and rounded, ready to receive the separately knitted collar.

The separate collar (24 × 62 cm once assembled) is knitted in 1×1 rib on n°10 needles, then closed into a loop. It can be worn turned up as a funnel collar for an enveloping effect, or left to fall onto the shoulders for a more relaxed style. Independent of the jumper, it can also be worn with other pieces in your wardrobe.

The technical detail: decreases 3 stitches from the edge

The armhole and neckline decreases are worked on the purl side, 3 stitches from the edge (p3tog for 2 stitches, p2tog for 1 stitch). This technique gives clean, visible lines that structure the drape of the mohair and add a couture detail to a deliberately minimalist piece.

The Verona quality

Knitted in the Verona quality, colour Cassis, this jumper benefits from a soft, airy and luminous mohair yarn. Held double, it gives an airy yet warm fabric, ideal for oversized pieces that play on volume without weighing down.

• Stocking stitch (2 strands held together): 9 sts × 13 rows = 10 × 10 cm (n°9 needles, unblocked tension)

Level and duration

Intermediate level. The project calls for comfortable handling of 1×1 rib, stocking stitch, knitting with a double strand and purl-side decreases 3 stitches from the edge. The large needles and the one-size cut make it a quick piece to cast on, rewarding to wear.
